Alone in the Dark

Here I was sitting at home, alone, for that earth hour thingy. I somehow just wanted to off the lights and computer and FAN to participate(don't ask me why).

But what did I do for the past one hour? These are the clues.

Ya. I was eating these in the dark.

But in conclusion, judging from the amount of lights still on outside, this 'project' is kinda waste of time. Why?

1. people just don't/can't care. (don't deny, you're already using energy when reading this)
   
2. for those who did turn off their lights, they will go back using their lights, their air cond, their computer, their tv, their fan etc. and all of these need power, and power comes from fossil fuel which will release carbon into the air
3. cars still let out carbon because cars uses fossil fuel.

Well, my point is, as long as human beings are still relying on fossil fuels for energy, carbon will be released into the air. So what are the ways to produce and use energy without relying on fossil fuel? I don't know. I will be filthy rich and will receive a Nobel Prize if I found a way to do that.
